BA-10 Armored Car[]

Specifications[]

  • Frontal armor value: 12
  • Side armor value: 12
  • Rear armor value: 12
  • Top armor value: 12
  • Primary weapon damage: 35
  • Primary weapon penetration value: 43

Usage[]

The BA-10 is given to the player in both the intoductory mission and Leningrad random missions, as well as its historical mission. It can hold its own against Pz IIs, and is reasonably adept at fighting medium-sized groups of infantry. It is best suited in a defensive role, but dangerous recon missions are quite acceptable.

BA-20 Armored Car[]

Specifications[]

  • Frontal armor value: 6
  • Side armor value: 6
  • Rear armor value: 6
  • Top armor value: 6
  • Primary weapon damage: 5
  • Primary weapon penetration value: 3

Usage[]

This is the weakest piece of armor used in the entire Russian campaign. It has a weak weapon, and is unsuitable for attacking even infantry due to its low armor. It should never be used as an upgrade. If the game gives the player one as a non-core unit, it does have a use in non-dangerous recon trips.

BA-64 Armored Car[]

Specifications[]

  • Frontal armor value: 15
  • Side armor value: 15
  • Rear armor value: 15
  • Top armor value: 15
  • Primary weapon damage: 5
  • Primary weapon penetration: 3

Usage[]

This vehicle is considerably smaller and tougher than the BA-20. Its high armor enables it to attack small groups of infantry, so long as the anti-tank rifleman is eliminated first. It is mainly used for recon missions.
